He has spent several years working with multi generational family-owned businesses in succession planning, estate planning, and business strategy.
Areas of expertise include developing overall strategic plans, preserving family wealth, implementing sound business structures, leveraging tax benefits, working with entire families to help manage the transfer of ownership between members, acquisition of businesses, and the sale of assets and strategic business planning. With over 35 years of practicing law John has had the opportunity to work one-on-one with a wealth of businesses from a diverse collection of industries. Heâ€™s aided business owners from such industries as timber and forestry, e-commerce, logging, agriculture, manufacturing, and construction. He currently sits on the board of directors with the nations leading Business Plan development and consulting firm.
As one of the founding member of Julietâ€™s House, a non-profit dedicated to stopping child abuse, John maintains a strong presence in his community.
