JackBe was founded in 2002 as an AJAX widget company to later find itself targeting the IT enterprise market with a tool to mashup mission critical data and anything else. At the demand of its Ajax/RIA customers, JackBe expanded its solution base to be centered around enterprise mashup server software that provides ad-hoc integration of data. Other Ajax/RIA frameworks, portals, SOAs and other enterprise applications can consume mashups built and managed with JackBe’s mashup software.

JackBe users can create more than 10 different categories of mashups which can be collaborated on and shared with co-workers.
