IonLogix Systems builds applications that run on the Asterisk open source PBX platform. It is currently very much a startup (with just one employee for now), but has received quite a bit of attention from the Asterisk market, mainly due to it’s primary product, IonLogix Phone Manager 2008.
The idea behind IonLogix is to provide businesses and service providers with the tools that can empower them to function smarter, with less effort. Phone Manager helps accomplish this goal, mainly because it is a web based system, and is delivered via an “access anywhere” approach to what is typically a very locked in environment.

FreeVoiceLine.com is a free phone service that enables people to make calls within the US and Canada without having to pay for the long distance charge. FreeVoiceLine.com’s In-Call commercial engine enables advertisers to publish callback numbers, which in turn enables users to press ‘1’ at the end of a In-Call Forwarding enabled commercial and be redirected “mid-stream” to the advertiser.
IonLogix Phone Manager 2008 is a unified call management solution for the Asterisk PBX. It is designed to simplify your phone, with features such as voicemail, call recording, and call register access, as well as support for features such as click-to-call for both domain users and your contact list, which can be synchronized with Microsoft Outlook/Exchange.
In addition, built-in presence support and instant messaging make it easy to communicate with peers all over the world without out of band, which increases productivity. Phone Manager 2008 is very easy to use, and is very affordably priced, at $25 per user (a one time licensing fee). What’s more, Phone Manager 2008 connects directly to Active Directory, thus utilizing enterprise environment systems for account provisioning and management.
In summary, Phone Manager 2008 is the solution for businesses looking to connect their enterprise systems with Asterisk, on both the small and global scale.
