InGrid uses wireless security hubs which are placed at doors and windows to cover all potential openings in a home or office. Hubs are connected wirelessly through your broadband connection with an additional fail-safe wire connected to your phone jack in case broadband is offline. Working in unison or independently, all the hubs report when doors or windows are opened and closed to prevent the whole system from going down because of a single fail point.InGrid’s system can be accessed through your computer, cell phone or wireless home phone.
