Ingen was established in 2000 to provide alternative solutions to the way things always had been done in an industry which is not very innovative. This lead amongst other things to the development of an Integrated Asset Modeling software tool before any of the big names got into this game.

Additionaly Ingen provides bespoke solutions at clients requests, most of which are based on Excel. These range from hardcore engineering tools to integrated economics and risk analysis. Additionaly Ingen is also one of the few players who provides injection management for Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) projects.
