Identified is a big data and analytics company that pioneered SYMAN, a technology that transforms social data from Facebook into professional intelligence for people and companies. Identified was founded in 2010 by Stanford University MBA students Adeyemi Ajao and Brendan Wallace, as a research project. Identified launched its beta product to the public in September 2011 and attracted more than 10 million users. The company has raised $22.5 million in funding and currently has 40 employees, based in San Francisco’s China Basin.
