The Idealo Internet GmbH, located in Berlin (Germany) is one of the three biggest comparison shopping sites in Germany, attracting a unique audience of 2 Mio internet users each month. In 2006 Idealo was acquired by the Axel Springer AG, publisher of the “BILD-Zeitung” and “Welt”.

Idealo is expanding into new markets (Austria, UK, France) and spreads its range of services into the travel branch with new sites like Flug-Idealo.
