iChange was hatched by Internet industry veterans believing they could improve the 80% failure rate in the $14 billion self-help industry. This effort created the iChange SM3 Platform™, and the ChangeRecipe™, which deliver scheduled multi-media messaging over a hybrid environment. Now, iChange has the ability to deliver a variety of media to users, sending the information they need, when they need it, to their mobile phones, and/or computers via email, IM, or services like Facebook and MySpace, a hybrid approach. It also allows the user to designate a support group of friends, and update each other with individual progress. Take a user, for example, who is dieting. They get a message to weigh themselves via SMS messaging. Upon finding out that they have lost 5 lbs, they record it in their online journal, and the system automatically notifies each member of their support group on their phones, and/or computers, communicating “Susie just lost 5 lbs”. Each, in turn, can respond with encouragement, and this also fosters peer pressure. iChange is convenient, effective, mobile, and turbo-charges support groups.
