IWAAT.com is a web app discovery engine. Through a combination of a search engine, directory, and discussion our mission is to help users discover and research web applications. At the same time, we hope to provide app creators with a place to showcase their products and connect with users.
The core feature, Search, uses a combination of data from Crunchbase, Twitter, blogs, as well an index of each app’s site to provide relevant results. Using an analysis of this data, we’ve also created a “Traction Index” which measures the impact an application has throughout the web. Every app has its own profile on the site filled with publicly available data (descriptions, news, screenshots, etc).
