Hubbuzz was built on a neighborhood platform. Users can search by the standards, such as rent and amenities, but they can also search by neighborhood and neighborhood characteristics (such as eclectic, established, and urban). The search results actually match the user to the perfect neighborhood and apartment without having to scroll through pages and pages of listings.

Once you click on an apartment the user is served detailed neighborhood profiles, photo galleries and interactive maps. There is also a forum where users can share and promote cities and neighborhoods through user-generated blogs.

When visiting Hubbuzz, apartment seekers are able to search for apartments based on name, neighborhood characteristic (such as eclectic, established, and urban), cost of rent and a number of other apartment amenities (such as pets, parking, and air conditioning). It is also possible to search by neighborhood, which yields detailed neighborhood profiles and photos compiled by Hubbuzz field representatives based on in-person visits to each location. Throughout the search process, visitors also have access to real-world, user-generated commentary about neighborhoods, events, and local businesses posted by bloggers and other community members.
