Scrapbooking, 2.0. How Fast Time Flies (formerly How Fast They Grow) is a website devoted to creating high-end 12x12 photo pages. Its patent-pending rich-internet application, Digi-scrapbook®, has become popular with people who want to create and build a scrapbook one page at a time. Dubbed “Home of the 7-Minute Scrapbook Page,” the application was developed by Ecom Enterprises of Sunnyvale, California utilizing Adobe Flex 3.0. Digi-scrapbook allows for real-time editing of pages, photos and text, while keeping the traditional look of a high-end scrapbook with details like layered text, quote boxes and well-formatted photo collages.
How Fast Time Flies has found a niche with their high-end design and printing 12x12 pages individually, while large photo websites specialize in bound books. Individual pages can be slid into industry-standard scrapbooks, capitalizing on $3.0 billion scrapbooking market. They now have over 600 unique designs by Jennifer Sbranti of Hostess with the Mostess, Lynn Grieveson, Boatman Geller and former Pottery Barn Kids textile designer Aimee Delongchamp.
In March, 2009, How Fast They Grow launched their own Facebook Application, allowing users to access their designs directly from Facebook. August, 2009, the company officially changed its name from How Fast They Grow to How Fast Time Flies, as it expanded into the wedding market.
