HourVille is a marketplace where people buy and sell virtually anything that can be priced by the hour – services, rentals, places, classes.

The company provides interactive online tools for both buyers and sellers.

Local Search – tag-based local search within a zip code radius for buyers to find local providers of services, rentals, places, and classes in target categories such as lessons, tutoring, babysitting, photography, party entertainment and equipment, massage therapy, dance halls and other venues, and art, computer, and other classes.

Multimedia Profiles – Sellers post descriptions, pictures, video, documents, references and testimonials.

Online Schedule Management – Sellers create a schedule for their services and post their availability to their profiles via an interactive calendar. Sellers can sync their schedules with other calendar applications via an iCalendar export. Buyers book and buy time directly through the sellers’ interactive calendars at HourVille.com.

Ratings and Reviews – Buyers leave feedback for sellers after services have been delivered. Sellers build a community reputation and buyers make informed purchasing decisions based on seller reputation.

Marketing and Promotional Tools – Third-party web site support and integration is available through tools such as a widgets (including Facebook), and links and buttons that sellers embed in Craigslist and other online classifieds postings and personal and company web sites. The links, buttons, and widgets pull buyers back to sellers’ HourVille profiles and interactive calendars.
