Holaba generates marketingdata for brands by mapping in real time millions of consumers with 1000’s of brands. Holaba data help brands to improve their product/service, pricing, distribution, positioning and (targeted) marketing communication. Holaba is accessible on-line since May 2009 in China in Chinese and on-mobile at a later stage.
Holaba focusses on the recommenders.
Recommenders have the largest networks and communicate at the highest frequency about brands within their peer group. They create the highest value possible for both brands and (other) consumers. Recommenders are media like any other medium: they’re human media. Holaba delivers these recommenders all the tools to give scores to brands, to write about their own experience and to invite followers.
1.1.Holaba is a real time online survey platform for brands.
Step by step Holaba builds knowledge on 10,000’s of relationships between brands & identified brand-recommenders. Tapping into the existing data we can relate recommendation power of brands / products to age, study level, income level, marital status, location, degree of interactivity, size of network and experience with the product. The platform can also be used to do additional surveys to get a clearer insight in the WHY behind a certain good or bad score. Holaba has an open, flexible architecture and will be integrated as an application on social networks.
1.2 For brands Holaba is also a real time communication-platform.
The registered users and the daily visitors can be reached by brands. Targeted. The Holaba-platform and the registered users have their place in media plan aiming at high ROI of any advertising dollar.
The business model is based on the value of the data Holaba produces for brands who will to a certain extent get paid access to the database.
For the recommenders Holaba is a platform where they can score and review over 45,000 products in all categories and over 4000 brands. They can build “brand focussed links” between themselves and also between themselves and their followers: visitors can search and relate to likewise profiles within the network.
In the end - for all consumers - Holaba will be a trusted pre-shopping tool for all those consumers who less and less believe in ads and seek for a 2nd opinion within their peer group of trusted people.
