HOB Entertainment, Inc. was formerly known as House of Blues, Inc. and changed its name in June 1993. The company was founded in 1992 and is based in Los Angeles, California. It operates venues in Anaheim, Sunset Strip, and San Diego, California; Atlantic City, New Jersey; Boston, Massachusetts; Chicago, Illinois; Cleveland, Ohio; Dallas and Houston, Texas; Las Vegas, Nevada; Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; New Orleans, Louisiana; and Orlando, Florida. As of November 3, 2006, HOB Entertainment, Inc. is a subsidiary of Live Nation, Inc.
