Herotainment, LLC is a children’s media company and has launched Herotopia.com, a dynamic social online game/virtual world with engaging characters and story that will be the basis for books, a television show, comic books and movies. Herotopia is fun, safe and educational. The Herotopia intellectual property and brand will also be leveraged into global merchandising and licensing opportunities.
Herotopia is the first virtual world to empower and entertain kids while educating them about bullying, a major social issue facing millions of children today. Also, Herotopia teaches kids about cultures around the world within the game.
In Herotopia, each child creates his/her own superhero avatar, chooses a special superpower and travels around the world to play and learn. Â The site design is a map of the Earth and users can explore nineteen different destinations, from New York to Paris, to Beijing and the North Pole. As kids travel throughout Herotopia, they are introduced to foreign languages, geography and reading skills all in a safe and interactive community setting.
Kids experience a global adventure by playing games, discovering fun facts and hidden quests, and safely interacting with friends. Â
