The founders’ goal for HealthLok was to initiate market research on the patient-controlled Personal Health Record concept, and based on the results of this research and feedback; develop a highly-secure and easy-to-access approach for people to better manage their general wellness and health care for themselves and their families.
In November 2008, an entity controlled by Revolution Capital Partners, LLC acquired HDC4Point Dynamics’ healthcare technology division and rebranded the Company as HealthLok to reflect its true mission of bringing Personal Health Record management solutions - and control - to the general population.
