Grouptivity is a “Publisher Centric” web service that connects publishers to users in a social email environment to share and discuss emailed content.

The benefits for publishers include increased traffic, better page rankings and a boost in ongoing referrals. Publishers or webmasters sign-up to create community’s around their content. This gives way to increased monetization opportunities. Grouptivity leverages an underestimated asset, the common “Mail-To” link like: “Email this” or “Send to a friend”. Mail-to links, such as these are found practically on every website so Internet users are familiar with the idea.

In addition, all that is being shared is anonymously posted onto a site so users benefit from “human filtered” content and publishers enjoy increased referral traffic.

“Publisher centric” means that the site shares revenue with publishers and support co-branding (look and feel) within their services.
