Groupicks is a tool for crowdsourcing picks on sports games.
Users make their picks on the spread or the over/under for any games they like. Groupicks analyzes those user picks along with the “expertise” of the users who made them. Groupicks then comes up with a list of group picks and assigns a confidence score to each one. In theory, the higher the confidence score, the better the pick.
A user’s expertise for a particular pick is based on his or her previous record for similar picks. Expertise is taken into account when producing a confidence score for each pick. The confidence score will range from 1 to 10.
All new users to Groupicks are placed into a group called The Crowd. You can also create your own private group(s) and invite just your friends. Groupicks will aggregate your picks within each group that you are a member of. Each group will have its own unique set of group picks based on only its members’ picks.
