Graduateland is creating a large recruitment network of international universities, by offering a free plug’n’play career portal for their intranet.
Recruiting the most talented students and graduates across borders is a resource demanding and time consuming process.
For young academics it can be cumbersome to obtain a substantial overview of relevant career opportunities because sites are either geographically limited or not targeted their experience level.
Universities do not have the time nor the resources to maintain a sufficient job portal for their students and alumni, or they have to pay for external operators.
Graduateland is bringing together these three stakeholders, and creating a large career network for students and graduates.
Universities implement a free plug’n’play portal, which allows their students and alumni to browse relevant career opportunities on a global level, as well as present themselves via a CV database. Employers can promote their vacancies or perform employer branding, either broadly or very precisely due to targeting via the users’s detailed profiles. Employers buy bulks of Graduateland Credits, which can be distributed across any portal on any service. The universities earn a cut of the revenue that is generated via their portal, making the portal a source of revenue rather than an expense.
Currently more than 15 European universities have implemented the solution, including Copenhagen Business School in Denmark, Lund University in Sweden and Norwegian School of Life Sciences in Norway.
Both Indian and US universities have signed contracts, and their portals will be implemented during Spring 2013.
