Grabio is a marketplace, with a focus on the local community, that connects buyers and sellers of both goods and services from the convenience of their smartphone in a simple but innovative way!
What we do? We created a mobile and location based marketplace that connects buyers and sellers within their local communities. Grabio enables people in their neighborhood to connect with each other and exchange goods and services from the convenience of their smartphone.
Neighbors and community visitors may user their phone to discover what people nearby are selling or willing to pay for. They may also take a photo of the item for sale, describe the item or service, assign a price and then post it on Grabio with a few simple steps. Grabio, with its intuitive and visual user experience, helps you sell and discover items with people around you.
What problem do we solve? Inability to move and search, in real time from your phone, what people nearby are selling, willing to buy or pay for, renting, or are giving away. Furthermore, if one is looking for an item (i.e. tickets), currently there is not a mobile service or product that will notify the person as time goes by or as he/she moves around the town, city, or the country that someone nearby has what the person is looking for.
How does Grabio intend to innovate? Grabio intends to change they way people search for and exchange goods and services by adding elements of mobility, timeliness and a social user experience to location based listings. For example, instead of searching for rentals on a website, collect addresses and visit later - the person may walk or drive through the part of town of interest to them and use Grabio to determine what rental offers are available in real time and contact sellers/providers on the spot.
From buying concert or sports tickets, renting apartments, to requesting services and listing items, Grabio is a must have classifieds app for your local community and/or neighborhood you live in.
With Twitter and Facebook integration, the social marketplace experience goes beyond the consumer-2-consumer interaction by engaging people and friends from your social networks. Facebook Connect eliminates the need to create an account, and from launching the app to listing an item, it takes less than 20 seconds.

Looking to buy a ticket for baseball game last minute? Go to the ball stadium, launch Grabio and it will display ticket listings near where you’re located, connecting buyers and sellers within seconds by simply sending a message through your app.
Bored? Fire up the Grabio app and see what listings are in the area. If the price is right, you can snag a deal by simply contacting the seller.
