Create Your Own Custom Characters

All our video makers are loaded with a library of characters. But if you want a specific look - you can make it yourself in our Character Creator. Choose facial features, clothing and accessories off simple point & click menus. With practice, you can create just about anyone, from the President of the United States to the president of your company.

Dialogue Your Way

Our platform allows for four different methods of entering dialogue. First, you can record voices directly into the video makers. You don’t need special equipment. An ordinary chat or gaming mic will be fine. Second, you can use our “text-to-speech” voices. Just type the lines and choose the voice from a menu. We have men’s and women’s voices in over 20 different languages to choose from. Third, you can import external audio files. This is great for animating recorded speeches or interviews. Finally, you can type text and just have it appear in comic-book style speech bubbles.

BYOB (Bring Your Own Background)

We have hundreds of backgrounds and sets for you to choose from. But maybe you don’t like ours. Or maybe the scene has to take place at the client’s headquarters. That’s no problem. You can import image files and use them as the background. The feature is not limited to backgrounds. Hosting and Sharing

When you create a video on GoAnimate, we automatically host it as part of your account. You can share links, paste embed codes, export the video to mp4 and see basic viewing statistics. GoAnimate for Consumer: GoPlus and Basic

Making a video used to be difficult, time-consuming and expensive. Not anymore! GoAnimate is the leading do-it-yourself animated video production website. Users can create HD videos quickly and easily to share with the world. GoAnimate offers two account types for consumers: GoPlus and Basic.

Basic: Basic accounts are free, but somewhat restricted in functionality. Quick Video Maker videos are restricted to 10 lines of dialogue in length. Full Video Maker videos are restricted to 2 minutes in length. Use of the text-to-speech function and character creators are limited. Many Video Makers and Action Packs, particularly the newer ones, are not available to Basic users. Basic users can only import audio files. They cannot import image or flash files. Basic users cannot download to mp4 nor can they direct export to YouTube.

GoPlus: GoPlus is a subscription plan starting at less than $5. GoPlus benefits include: Quick Video Maker videos can be extended to 30 lines of dialogue. Full Video Maker videos do not have a restriction on length. Use of the text-to-speech function and character creators are greatly expanded. GoPlus subscribers have access to many more Video Makers and Action Packs. GoPlus subscribers can import audio, image or flash files into the system. GoPlus subscribers can download their videos as mp4 files with 720p (HDTV quality) resolution. They can also export to YouTube with a single click.
