go28days.com provides solutions for women who want to observe their own fertility cycle. Since its launch in Poland at the end of 2007, it has been the Polish market leader. By Fall 2008, Polish subscribers have created 100,000 fertility charts, to which over 2 million comments have been attached, resulting in the establishment of a large database.
At the heart of this application is a chart which aims to display information about the body’s biological patterns. Just by recording her own body temperature on a daily basis, a woman can accurately divide her cycle into stages of fertility. In this way, some women can regulate their sexual lives by choosing to have intercourse on days of definite infertility, while others – especially those finding it difficult to get pregnant – can target their moments of highest fertility.
Additional modules within the application, such as ‘friends’, ‘comments’, ‘favorites’ and ‘internal news’, serve to create a community spirit amongst users, facilitating the creation of networks of women who share the same problems and goals.
