Givedon is a not-for-profit company that uses technology for charitable means.
Users access different web-services (e.g. search) via Givedon’s website or toolbar. Where Givedon has an affiliate or partnership agreement it receives money (e.g. Traffic-Acquisition-Cost payments), which is then donated directly to the chosen charities of Givedon’s users.
In addition to a direct to consumer offering, Givedon offers charities the ability to create their own “toolbar” than leads to the direct payment of funds raised by the actions of the charities supporter to the charity itself. Similarly, corporations engaged in charitable endeavors are able to use Givedon’s technology to raise funds for the charities of the corporations’ choosing.
Unlike many other charity related search engines, 100% of the funds raised by Givedon are donated to charity. Staffed by unpaid volunteers, Givedon’s operational and development costs are covered by individual and corporate sponsors.
