OpenResume is a place where you are able to do just that. Users create their own pages that act as resume, profile, and networking site all in one. Highlight past work experience and relevant skills, post a video that showcases your personality, or connect with other individuals in your field and make introductions. Past employers can endorse you or write a recommendation right on your profile and you can send your personalized OpenResume link to anyone you want.

The best part of OpenResume is that companies who are hiring can search it for free, which means they have instant access to all of your accomplishments and can send you a private job invitation, immediately.

One great mentor can change the course of a person’s entire career; one person who lacks the ability to mentor can set a person’s career back years. Wouldn’t it be nice if people could learn first-hand if their next boss was a leader or trail-blazer?

The purpose behind Gigats’ Rate My Boss is to give job seekers an avenue to learn from the experiences of others before working for someone new. If you’re considering a job offer, it just makes good sense to find out about the experiences of others who worked for that individual. It’s also an opportunity for you to share your experiences so that others can learn from you, too - for better or for worse.
