Giga Omni Media is a San Francisco based technology news blog network founded and edited by Om Malik. Formerly a senior writer for Business 2.0 Magazine and Red Herring and a senior editor of Forbes.com, Malik is a considerable presence within the high-tech industry. His team of writers cover everything technology from online games to Web 2.0. Serving an increasingly large audience of over half a million technophiles, GigaOmniMedia has expanded its network to reach smaller niche communities. It is funded by TrueVentures.

GigaOM.com made the top 100 IT news sites by Hitwise, is among the top 50 Technorati Blogs and is a part of the CNet 100 Most Influential blogs.
