Genius.com, formerly known as MarketingGenius.com, is a client-tracking software which allows companies to track and record the activity of potential customers. Companies can track each individual customer’s site visits with 1 to 1 access of their time spent on each site, progress through a website, and other valuable information which allows sellers to better communicate with customers. Genius Interactive allows sellers to personally interact with users on their website. Using the same tracked emails as SalesGenius, Genius Interactive goes one step further by allowing sales associates to chat with site visitors or leave a message for visitors to find further information.

SalesGenius, the first product unveiled by Genius.com, allows sales and marketing teams to effectively track their leads via email links. The service is relatively easy to use, as no IT integration is required on the company side.Users of SalesGenius are able to track their potential leads through linked emails . Leads receive an email with a link to a company’s website. From there, everything the lead does with the email is tracked by SalesGenius. Sellers learn how much time is spent on each page, which pages were visited, and other prevalent information, allowing sellers to be more prepared in their follow-ups. Users pay $49 a month for the service.

In addition to the traditional SalesGenius application, a similar application is available through the Salesforce service. Users use the same email and website tracking system, but in corporation with their Salesforce.com data.
