Gene Security Network

Gene Security Network is bringing preimplantation genetic diagnosis into mainstream diagnositcs. By combining data from the human genome project with advanced informatics, GSN delivers single cell diagnostics with over ten times greater accuracy than conventional technology plus the ability to screen for aneuploidy across all 24 chromosomes and multiple disease-linked genes in parallel with next day turnaround.

The mission of GSN is to help doctors give couples the best chance of having a healthy child. The company was formed in 2004 by a team of doctors, geneticists, statisticians, and software engineers who embarked on developing a technology, called Parental Support, to enable highly reliable testing of multiple genes and chromosome copy numbers from a single cell. Today, the company’s technology is being offered in IVF clinics for aneuploidy screening across all 24 chromosomes in time for Day 5 transfer. They are in the final stages of development to offer testing of single gene genetic disorders in parallel with aneuploidy screening.
