GameGenetics was founded in Berlin in 2009 and initiated POPMOG (“popular multiplayer online games”) as “independent publishing”-platform for browser games. Independent meaning, that GameGenetics does not develop games on their own, but integrates popular browsergames from independent developers via the POPMOG portal and, especially, media cooperations. Early acclaims include winning the RED HERRING 100 EUROPE 2010 award and the eco-award “Most Innovative Content-Atart-Up 2010”. The portal consists of a unique package of features containing attractive games, community functions, and services for game developers.
