The company was founded in 1999 as Workwired.com, Inc. and changed its name to Fullscope, Inc. in 2000. Fullscope, Inc. is headquartered in Athens, Alabama with regional offices in Montreal, Canada; and San Jose, California. It also has sales and satellite offices in Los Angeles, California; Chicago, Illinois; Ann Arbor, Michigan; Portland, Oregon; Minneapolis, Minnesota; Durham, North Carolina; and Vancouver, Canada, as well as in Italy and Portugal. As of December 31, 2009, Fullscope, Inc. operates as a subsidiary of Edgewater Technology Inc.
