Zomato, founded in 2008, is South Asia’s largest restaurant guide, listing over 74,500 restaurants in 19 cities across India (Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Pune, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Indore, Ludhiana), UAE (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah), UK (London), Qatar (Doha), and Sri Lanka (Colombo).

Started by IIT Delhi alumni in July 2008 for Delhi NCR, Zomato has expanded its services over a span of 4 years to 19 cities across 5 countries. Info Edge has invested over $6.5M in Zomato since 2010. Zomato has forayed into print as well, launching the Citibank Zomato Restaurant Guide in 2012, and The Connoisseur’s Guide to Eating Out in 2013 (http://www.zomato.com/print).

Zomato is headquartered in New Delhi and currently employs 200 people across the 5 countries it is present in.
