Foodem is an online wholesale food marketplace that connects food distribution companies and direct sell manufacturers with wholesale food buyers, such as, restaurants.
With food distribution industry sales well over 670 billion last year in the US alone, we created Foodem to connects small, mid-size distributors and direct-sell manufacturers directly with the wholesale food buyer. We offer products in ALL food categories from meats, seafood, produce, dry goods to paper and cleaning products - any and everything a wholesale establishment needs to run their business.
For Food Sellers: We get a seller’s products right in front of the customer, such as, restaurants, country clubs, retail stores, schools, etc. Foodem does all the marketing to the buyers and gets the sellers the spotlight they deserve. Better yet, it is absolutely free for sellers to join and upload their products. We charge a flat 2% commission for any orders sellers get through Foodem. Foodem also offer sellers the option to advertise their products – sales, specials, new product launches, etc. for more visibility to buyers nationwide. We also offer them their own unique store-front (URL) that they can market to buyers or place it on their website and/or business cards.
For Food Buyers: Membership is absolutely FREE and buyers gain access to a new and improved method of shopping for food related items online that they won’t find anywhere else. Shopping on foodem.com is quicker and easier than any other site: A buyer can enter up to 50 different items into a single search. Available items from all sellers are then reflected in the search results sorted according to the buyer’s preference of price and distance from the seller. Buying items on foodem.com means access to multiple sellers so buyers get the lowest price on their food related items. We also offer the feature of buying from multiple sellers in a single transaction. Foodem.com does all the leg work a buyer would usually be tasked to do when researching for food sellers to compare prices. We help buyers save time, energy and money so they can effectively run their business.
