Flickme

Flickme (now defunct) was a social streaming movie service backed by Sequoia Capital and partnered with Warner Brothers and Sony Pictures.

The service launched in August 2011 with over a thousand movies and social sharing features including reviews, ratings, discussions, follows and leaderboards.

The user base grew to over 15,000 before the company was shutdown after content licensing negotiations fell through with other major studios.
