FirstString.com is a social community that brings together competitors and teammates into a new environment targeted specifically at high school sports.

FirstString.com is a place for high school athletes to:

• Interact with Teammates, Opponents and Fans
• Share Photos, Videos and Personal Highlights
• Gain new insights into specific high school sports
• Get in front of the top College Recruiters
• Join the Largest Community of High School Athletes

FirstString was founded in March 2008 by Jonathan Eppers, former Product Manager at MySpace, alongside his friend and colleague, Steve Heady.

Both Jonathan and Steve were former high school athletes who wanted to bring the excitement of the game off the field and on to the web. Together, both are building a site that will bring all aspects of high school athletics together in to one, single online community.

FirstString is launching in nine US states: California, Arizona, Texas, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Indiana, Ohio and Illinois. More states will be opened shortly after launch.
