FiredUpNetwork.com is a business networking community that provides informational resources to its members.
By combining business resources with business networking, FiredUpNetwork goes beyond what other social networks offer and makes the search for new career opportunities easier and more convenient. It is a one-stop-shop for professional change.

As a Change Seeker, your first move will likely be reaching out to people in your network to share your ideas and seek counsel. In response, they will introduce you to people and recommend books and resources that may be of help to you. Each of FiredUpNetwork’s Resource Sections mirrors this process via three subsections including:
THE RESOURCES
The FiredUpNetwork team researched and added 1,500 informational items to the Resource Sections before officially launching. They are designed in a wiki-like format that allows users to rate, comment and add their own information items to the knowledge base. As such, the quantity and quality of information will grow and improve as the FiredUpNetwork community expands.
A sampling of the resources includes: headhunting firms organized by industry, business incubation firms organized by state, business brokerage and auction websites, angel networks and venture capital firms that specialize in seed and early stage investments, graduate test preparation courses and much more.

FOUNDER – MATTHEW PIZZI
Matthew Pizzi is a graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with concentrations in finance and entrepreneurial management. Upon graduation, he worked for a very successful entrepreneur in operations management. Responsible for 120 employees at ten client accounts, he had P&L responsibility for $4 million in revenue. Private equity investing on Wall Street followed for five years, most recently with Leucadia National Corporation (Ticker LUK) and York Capital Management. Upon leaving York early in 2009, Matthew pursued his entrepreneurial ambitions and founded FiredUpNetwork.
