findwell is an online real estate company that provides full-service real estate search and brokerage at half of the price of traditional real estate agents. The company was founded by Kevin Lisota, a former Microsoft employee, and is based out of Seattle. They are privately funded and currently service home buyers and sellers in the Puget Sound region of Washington.
In order to maintain consistent levels of customer service, findwell agents are full-time employees who are paid a salary and bonus, unlike other brokers who license their name to independent contractors. findwell claims to save home buyers and sellers an average of $7,500 per transaction by charging half of the normal market rate sales commissions.
findwell’s competitors include real estate companies like Redfin, Windermere, John L. Scott and Coldwell Banker Bain. Only Redfin shares a similar business model with discounted commissions and agents who are full-time employees.
