Filmaster provides cloud-based personalization and analytics solutions for the entertainment industry. Our clientele consists of cable providers, VODs, IPTV platforms and cinema chains.

Filmaster products offer the most cost effective sales tool for content distributors. Our customers benefit from products with simple integration (no client software installation is needed), immediate accessibility, and a scalable service that can be deployed anywhere, at any time, on any platform.

Filmaster’s cloud is fueled by the data from multiple sources including Filmaster’s consumer apps, customers, (social) media monitoring and curation. The personalization platform processes this data and provides the recommendations service to business customers. The analytics platform uses the same data to provide additional services and produce reports.

Filmaster founders:

• Borys Musielak, Founder & CEO Co-founded ReaktorWarsaw.com, a major Polish startup hub. Named one of 50 most creative Polish entrepreneurs by BRIEF in 2012.
• Paweł Czerski, Co-founder, Product guy Specialized in HCI, UCD, UX. Organized Front-Trends and Falsy Values conferences. Managed front-end team at F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd.
• Jakub Tlałka Co-founder, Tech lead Responsible for the R&D of the recommendation engine. Studied Math and Computer Science at University of Warsaw. Awarded in multiple math and algorithmic contests. Worked in Googleplex.

Traction:

• Named one of world’s top 10 TV disrupting startups in 2012 during Cannes’ MIPCube conference (part of MIPTV).
• Currently deploying Filmaster’s cloud-based products to four major European customers (including a cable network, a cinema chain and a VOD provider).
• Filmaster cooperates with Raindance Film Festival in London (official mobile app) and 10+ other European film festivals.
• Other partners include Samsung (SmartHUB app), Facebook (World Hack event) and Google TV.

Distribution:

• Filmaster exposes an open API (http://filmaster.org) for outside developers. Over 10 applications using the API have been created. Filmaster takes part in multiple hackathons like Facebook World Hack, where Filmaster.TV is the official partner.
• Filmaster mobile apps are available in Apple AppStore and Android Market. The apps are used by 50k users who rate on average 100 movies and shows each.
