Feedjit makes AJAX widgets that show real-time site traffic stats. They have two main blog traffic widget products. “Live Traffic Map” shows a world map with dots marking the locations of the hundred most recent visitors. If you hover over any visitor dot the widget provides you with detailed information about the particular visitor. The second, “a live arrival and departure traffic report”, shows the last 10 visitors on a scrolling list very similar to MyBlogLog.
Both widgets can be easily installed without the blog owner or site visitor needing to download anything. All blog owners need to do is copy and paste the widget code into their post or layout.
The live arrival and departure traffic report widget recently launched full AJAX personalization and claims to serve over 3 million widgets per week.
The site was created by a husband and wife team Mark Maunder and Kerry Boyte. They previously worked on a vertical search engine WorkZoo.com which was sold to Jobster.com in late 2005. They are self-funded and are currently talking with investors.
Competitors include MyBlogLog.

The Live Traffic Feed widget lets you see live visitor arrival and departure data from your blog coupled with specific location information. The widget lets you choose feed width and color scheme. They even have a color scheme called “Arring Town” which looks exactly like TechCrunch’s color scheme for obvious reasons.
