FamilyCam gives customers their own personal Internet video channel within which they and those they trust can browse, search and watch all their home movies, any time and from anywhere in the world.
FamilyCam provides an video uploader spplication called Movie Maker, which converts any digital video file into H264 video (MP4) and then uploads the movie onto FamilyCam’s streaming severs.
FamilyCam also provide a conversion service that takes Cine film and Video Tapes and converts home videos into digital files, for upload onto streaming severs.
The customers video material is held securely, and only chared with people that they choose to allow to view their home movies.
Movies watched using the FamilyCam web site are displayed in high quality, and may be watched full screen on a PC or Internet enabled TV.
FamilyCam has licensed Doovle technology, enabling particular scenes within a movie to be tagged using a simple text string, so that scenes can later be searched for and instantly replayed, really bringing the content to life.
