i had almost all id's and i was kinda cool and i had lots of stuff and houses and it made life seem more relaxing it was fun but... it was shutdown

I agree!! That was the best site in the world. It makes myspace look like childs play. U cood get a crib, get ur peeps, add ur pics, add ur "OWN MUSIC", get doe, go to jail, chat to people in live motion, etcetera. I mean, WHAT COOD'nt u DO? They need to put up some kind of information to let us know how we as the people can help provide them the support they need to get the site running again. Whether if it's a billion votes they need, I will be there all night voting for them. I use to promote my music through there in a cool way and it had helped me get some of the fans I have now. If any of you remember me, I was a pretty popular person on Faketown. If any of you remember Elly, or if you remember Kkrazyontheloose, then i know you loved faketown.I dont get why they closed it down. My friend says, "They probably just lost a lot of money.." And I think thats the reason. I mean, faketown was like no other website - in a way, it helped you cope with real life efficiencies. Habbo is really not my type, they make you feel like a nobody. And in Habbo, if you didn't have coins - then you would be considered a 'NOOB', which isn't a very nice word to be calling somebody that dosent have a "CREDIT CARD" to buy coins. Many, many, many people use the phone services there - but they also put money on your phone bill. They let you down on Habbo, by cutting down your clothing when a HC. It costs a lot of money just to be somebody. To be somebody on faketown, all you had to do was act with respect. everybody on their was nice! I loved how you could pimp your space, and make everything look cool. People are saying Habbo took over Faketown - and I beleive them, tripel the expense. Although you had to pay money on Faketown, it was for the whole social life game. It wasnt just for a month, or 2 months. It was basically for a year I think.....So yeah, lets up faketown gets back on the line everybody! Lets make sure Habbo dosen't take over the internet ;)

My god, when is it going to open again? I keep checking in every month to see if it's opened. Faketown really was a unique site. Those years of making friends, and building awesome houses. I really miss that.. :[

i wish the would really be hppy if you put faketown back on i had a friend that i lived in the same county as but know i caint contact her because i moved and know im so :( sad i would be :) happy if you but it back on and fast

it's a shame they don't have faketown anymore it was my favorite websight. There are no other ones like this

Faketown was THE best website i have ever been on.I met SOOOO many friends that now im friends with now.I was very addicting, faketown is wayyy better then habbo because habbo they treat you like nobody.If you dont have coins then you are considered a ''noob'' you have to buy a membership just to get SOME respect.But faketown you dont have to because you earn coins by the minute.Faketown was more comforting, more welcoming.There was people everywhere.I owned a pretty Big Mall.And i always love to draw clothes and sell them.It actually taught me alot in business.I say Lets get faketown back up.Ill buy a membership and ill get more friends to go.I lost soo many friends on faketown, now i only keep in contact with 2 krystal.jewel and rona_ciara. I remember xxgelaixx , kkrazyondaloose , flames...and soooo MUCH MORE PEOPLE.Faketown was not just a virtual website.It was home to many people who didnt feel wanted in the real world.It helped me cope with my family problems and it helped ALOT OF OTHER PEOPLE too.In the end, no other website could top faketown.Habbo they limit you to what you could wear and they seperate the HC from the norms.Even though i WAS a HC on habbo i stopped because im not funding that website anymore.I really want faketown to get back up.I know if all the faketown lovers come together and buy a membership or coins.Then we could have our faketown back.Or should i say our Home. =]

i miss my friends and i miss faketown i invited like 10 of my friends to fake town and out of all 5 of them brought membership

But I loved all the drama lol, i loved having events with faketown, fakemichell and all. I loved FAKETOWN, the one thing that was wrong is the MODS!!!! They would get mad at people that actually paid and ban them for NO reason. I hope the new people that do buy this place are nothing like the other owners!!!!!

faketown, was the greatest. I had so many experiences with it and met a lot of people, and it sucks that we can't be on it anymore it was really cool.

faketown was a very interesting game i wish it was up and i cant believe they are selling it.

Can't wait to see you all when Faketown opens again. ( If it ever opens. ) While Faketown is getting worked on, I'm working things out on Gaiaonline. ( Of course... no website can replace Faketown. ) Gaia doesn't have a lot of cool places to chat.

Pity it happened as it did. It was a novel idea, but bad business dealings happened to kill it off.

I WAS ON FAKETOWN PRETTY MUCH EVERYDAY, WHENEVER I WAS NEAR A COMPUTER. I WOULD GO TO SLEEP PLAYING FT AND WAKE UP TO PLAY FT. I WAS VERY MUCH ADDICTED TO THE GAME SUCH AS ALL THE REAL PLAYERS WHO WERE ON THERE AS MUCH AS I WAS. I SPENT UP TO $95 OF MY OWN NON- REGRET MONEY TO ENJOY THE GAME THAT MUCH MORE AS WELL AS HELP OTHERS TO SEE THE FULL POTENIAL OF THE GAME. I AM DISAPOINTED IN THE OUTCOME OF HOW IT IS CURRENTLY DOWN, AND IF THE FUNDS WHERE IN MY HAND I WOULD PURCHASE THE GAME IN A HEARBEAT. BEING UPSET THAT FT IS DOWN WHAT IS MORE UPSETTING IS THE FRIENDS WHO LOST CONTACT. I MADE TONS OF FRIENDS ON THE SITE SOME FRIENDS I CONTINUE TO SPEAK WITH TO THIS DAY... PROFIT, DEVINADUDE. I did play FakeTown. Infact, I was a MOD on it for a while. Some of you may remember me. Anyway, FakeTown didn't really bring in a lot of users not only because of the lack of advertising, but also because there wasn't enough to do as some people say. Some people would get bored of just chatting with other people, and they would leave. The 35,000 unique visitors a month was most likely correct, but not even close to half of them actually stayed on FakeTown. In fact, the majority of the monthly visitors were people making extra accounts to gain extra Fake Coins. Anyway, I am making a forum dedicated to FakeTown and I invite you all to sign up. I do warn you though, it is still a work in progress, and all the forums should be up soon.

I miss faketown a whiole lot. It was really fun. But habbo is the best now.

It sucks that they went bankrupt but its kinda their fault.. To make money all you had to do was create new accounts and give money to ur main one.. if they had prevented that they would have probably been much more successful.

well faketown went bankrupt and so they are selling the site to the highest bidder. i wish they would put it back up. i would buy fake coins to help keep it running. i mean even buying 5.00 worth of fakecoins per person would make a huge difference because of the number of people who love faketown.

I don't like it because I can't enter the site. But if I try I'm can't get on there with out a username or password. that was my review, Derrick

i mean its been what 2 months faketown was like the best game ever i check it everydday still down now i mean i have forgotten about it how fun it is and now that it has been down for so long and ppl just stopped to care to look to see if its back up theres not going to be as many ppl on faketown now that they have been down for a long time i would really like to have ft back up
