Eventblimp is a new service that helps people find exciting social events around them to go to with friends.

Eventblimp’s approach to event discovery is location focused and taps connectivity to Facebook to help users find events their friends are interested in or are attending. Events eventblimp covers include sports, concerts, food & wine, nightlife and many more.

Eventblimp was founded in late 2012 and is based in Soho, New York, NY. Expected website and iPhone app launch at the end of April 2013.
