Equalitopia

Equalitopia is a collaborative web application that will analyze and organize data about the LGBT movement. There’s a vast amount of information on the web and in the news about laws, views and attitudes towards the LGBT movement. Equalitopia will be a platform to document, organize and analyze that data.

Equalitopia will break down and compare the laws for every country and administrative division around the world, and provide some insight into the views of the people living there. Using historical data, you’ll be able to see the progress of countries over time; which countries are progressing and which are not.

The goal of the application is to give people a better understanding of the LGBT movement.

Equalitopia News, a sister project of Equalitopia, is a blog covering LGBT equality issues.
