EmbedPlus is a platform for enhancing embedded videos with DVD-like playback and much more.
Its primary tool allows users to seamlessly and freely upgrade YouTube video embeds with attractive features that the standard player does not currently offer. Given a video link, it applies the YouTube API to generate enhanced embed code that adds features like: scene marking, slow motion, section chopping / cropping, viewer analytics/reactions, 3rd party annotations, and more. It could be useful to bloggers and anyone wanting to offer viewers more without having to actually alter original video content.
EmbedPlus is WordPress-friendly and has been used by numerous blogs spanning different themes from sports to education. The service is also exploring targeted applications for its enhanced player within these domains.
