Egan Medical is an online retail provider of medical equipment, medical supplies, orthopedic supports and braces, maternity support belts and garments, vitamins and nutritional supplements.
Egan Medical is the official retail medical equipment division associated with Egan Healthcare Services, a SE Louisiana provider of an array of in-home health care services including home care, skilled nursing, medical staffing, hospice care, diabetes care, physical therapy, occupational therapy, respiratory therapy and a whole host of other services.
Egan Healthcare was founded in 1988, and its retail subsidiary in January of 2011 by the son of Egan Healthcare’s founder, CEO and primary shareholder.
Since its inception, Egan Medical has grown in size and scope. At its onset, its brick-and-mortar side was responsible for nearly all of the company’s revenue, however more than 18 months later the online side has usurped the physical side of the company, meeting all goals and performance expectations and securing its place within the Egan Healthcare family of companies.
