e-days operates a staff ‘self-service’ model, allowing staff to login on-line, view their absence entitlements and then request absence through the flexible booking engine. The entire system is underpinned by email and integrates seamlessly with MS Outlook. Staff managers are alerted to absence requests by email and they authorise or reject staff absence by the click of a button.
