Driftnow is a FREE online service where users can discover interested activities happening around them “instantly”.

You can use Driftnow for discovering & pursuing Community activities, Events, Sharing a cab, Socializing, Sports, or just about anything … Driftnow users can “view & join interested activities”, “create, manage & edit activities”, and “subscribe to interested activity alerts”.

Driftnow is about instantaneously discovering activities so people can connect safely to pursue them. Driftnow enables you to create activities in just a few sentences, we like to think of Driftnow as “Twitter for activities”. Ability to discover shared activities around you just in time can be priceless. You can connect with other people to share a cab, just socialize, pursue an outdoor activity like biking, or get a better deal while shopping by approaching as a group…

Driftnow also displays activities from other providers in its search results, as the goal is to get users quickly to any activity they might like. Driftnow is working with new providers to continue to build this comprehensive index.

Driftnow is approaching this by first building a platform with a robust set of APIs to enable applications to discover shared activities. Driftnow in it’s beta release supports only browser based application, but will soon be releasing mobile based application.
