Released in late 2009, doomby is a browser-based online free website builder, aimed at both beginner and advanced webmasters.
Like other web-based CMS solutions, doomby members are provided the website builder tools, hosting and file storage necessary for building and publishing their websites. They also have access to ready-made, configurable plug-ins to supplement their website content, such as forums, photo albums, blogs, calendars etc. Members may create an unlimited number of webpages, and are provided free support for the life of their website. Beginner users have access to drag and drop and WYSIWYG editing tools, while advanced webmasters can edit their page HTML and site CSS code directly.
doomby free websites can be supplemented by subcription services such as doombyPLUS (removes advertizing, increases file storage space etc.), domain name registration (including POP email accounts) and e-commerce.
