DocDep is a Philadelphia based provider of cloud-based applications that help alternative investment managers and investment-backed companies better manage their workflow, documents and critical data.
Many organizations suffer from poor governance and lack of automation for basic business processes. For example, investment firms often rely on a manual process to gather financials from portfolio companies and then to consolidate them. Another largely manual process involves transferring information received by a board member of a portfolio companies to a centralized location for the investment manager. Cap table management is often done on spreadsheets. DocDep provides crafted, easy to use applications that automate these business processes, combining document and data management with workflow automation.
DocDep applications fit the space between storage providers like box.net and development platforms like SharePoint. Applications are currently available for the alternative investment community, as well as high net worth individuals and investment backed companies.
