Dipity

Dipity is a social timeline application. Formerly known as T1me, Dipity allows users “to tell their story” using a visual timeline. T1me was hatched by web design shop, Built By Robots.

Stemming its name from serendipity, Dipity also allows users can add events, photos, audio, and video to their timelines as well their friends’. Suppose a group of friends attend a concert together; after they all add that event to their timelines, they can make connections between those events on the timelines.

The founders ask: “Imagine exploring the Mayan Culture, comparing it to the origins of Christianity, and even contributing your own unique knowledge along the way.”
