DietTV is a social network built around healthy living and dieting. The site helps you find an exercise and diet plan that works for you, provides tracking of meals, water and exercise and connects you with exercise and nutrition professionals and other dieters. The site used to be called DietTelevision.com but has changed the name to DietTV.com.
DietTV also offers a feelings tracker that is integrated with your meal and other diet trackers. If you feel really bad one day you can easily analyze what in your diet or exercise might have prompted the feelings. They also have a mobile diet tracker that lets you enter meal items from your mobile phone.
The community aspect of DietTV is really useful. You can browse fellow dieters based on age, diet-type, sex and location. All dieters are encouraged to keep diet diaries and tell other users what works for them, share guilty pleasures and explain why they want to lose weight. DietTV also has plenty of diet videos with tips and advice.
Competitors include FitLink, Traineo, FatSecret, MyFoodDiary and PEERtrainer. Previous TechCrunch coverage here.

DietTV’s Dietfinder product helps you find diets that match you by answering questions relating to topics like red meat, diet rules and affordability. When answering questions all you have to do is drag and drop sliders with spectrums like “never” to “always” and “no, thanks” to “it’s crucial.”
When users are done answering questions they get results for diets that match their lifestyle. The results show percentages for how well they match users’ lifestyles based on the site’s formula and other users’ opinion.
