Dx Media Inc. has developed the Rover Platform, a mobile/web platform for location-aware, mobile and social charitable fundraising. The company’s mission is to create a new army of “pocket philanthropists” that make purchasing decisions on the go based on which nearby businesses support their favorite cause.
DDx Media provides advertisers with mobile local advertising opportunities in a network of location-aware mobile applications. The twist is that DDx company provides is that consumers’ interactions with these ads help to accumulate a pool of donations for their favorite charity, distributed monthly according to each consumer’s wishes.
The signature application by DDx, edRover, is a location-enhanced mobile application for school and youth organization fundraising. We will provide other charitable organizations with an opportunity to participate as beneficiaries of our mobile fundraising applications and an opportunity to launch a dedicated, branded mobile location-based fundraising application suite on our platform.
